Noah’s House is pleased to announce Carleen F. White will join our Noah’s House team as Director of Development effective January 11, 2016.
White will be responsible for working within the greater Houston philanthropic community to enhance awareness and funding support for Noah’s House mission of providing intellectually disabled individuals with opportunities for growth and fulfillment in a loving and nurturing home community.
“We are excited to add Carleen to our team” commented Don Ray, President of Noah’s House Board of Directors. “We believe her background and experiences as a professional development officer make her uniquely qualified to develop and implement the funding programs we need to better position Noah’s House and to represent us throughout the community going forward.”
White comes with five years of experience in the development field, most recently with Houston’s outstanding Nehemiah Center. Prior to moving into the nonprofit world, she held multiple assignments in employee staffing and training for Enterprise Holdings, also in the Houston area. She holds a BA degree from Texas Lutheran University. White is an active member of the Houston Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is involved in education and children volunteer work.
Noah’s House was founded in 1998 as an affordable home where high functioning intellectually disabled individuals are able to live among friends and work in the greater community.
