A board of 12 directors who give generously of their time and resources governs Noah’s House. Directors serve three-year terms and receive no compensation for their services. Each of them brings a unique perspective to our efforts and together, they are critical to our success.
Carl W. Sandlin, President
Carl Sandlin has served on the board and in the position of vice president from 2010-2019, when he became president. He is a retired executive of ExxonMobil Corporation and holds a BS degree from Tennessee Technological University and an MS degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Rick A. Rumford, Vice President
Rick Rumford has served on the board since 2016. He is Principal, On Target Team Solutions and holds BS degree from Indiana University.
Thomas A. Mack, Treasurer
Tom Mack has served on the board and in the position of treasurer since 2011. He is Principal, Thomas Mack CPA, and holds a BA degree from Stephen F. Austin University and a MS degree from the University of Houston.
Michael S. McCoy, Secretary
Mike McCoy has served on the board and in the position of secretary since 2010. He is a counsel at King & Spalding LLP and holds a BS degree from Texas A&M University and a JD degree from the University of Houston.
Dawn Baskin Turner has served on the board since 2019. She is Director of Behavioral Health at Community Health Choice and holds a BSW degree from Clark Atlanta University and MSW degree from University of Pennsylvania. She has 25 years of Healthcare growing, leading, and serving the underserved.
Reverend Howard Bruce
Rev. Howard Bruce has served on the board since 2008. He is Pastor, Genoa United Methodist Church and holds a BA degree from Houston Baptist University.
Toby Dagenhart has served on the board since 2016 and served as President from 2017-2019. He is Vice President/General Manager at Triangle Printing and formerly served as Vice President and Director of Development for Disability Resources Incorporated. Toby holds a BA degree from San Angelo State University and a Leadership Certificate for Nonprofit organizations from Rice University.
William LeSage has served on the board since 2019. He is Principal, Sapientes Partners, LLC. William is skilled in Business Process, Petroleum, Business Planning, Operations Management, Real Estate and Enterprise Software. He holds a BS focused in Business/Accounting from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Harvard.
Donald R. Ray
Don Ray has served on the board since 2006 and was president from 2007-2017. He is a retired executive of Transocean Ltd. and holds BS and MS degrees from Texas A&M University.
Judy K. Ray
Judy Ray has served on the board since 2006. She is involved in multiple charitable organizations. Ray’s brother was one of Noah’s House’s founding residents.
Susan L. Reichenthal
Susan is the Vice President of Credit and Collection at Texas Iron and Metal Company. She graduated from University of Houston with a degree in Journalism and Public Relations. Susan has several years of philanthropy and fundraising experience. Her sister-in-law is a resident of Noah’s House.
Darryl Schroeder has served on the board since 2011. He is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lonestar Energy Fabrication and holds a BS degree from the University of Houston and has studied at the University of Houston School of Law.
