Volunteer

Each volunteer is a valuable part of the Noah's House team. Whether going on field trips, gardening, or offering encouragement, there are countless ways you can use your unique skill set to enrich the lives of residents. Here are just a few opportunities available:

Encouraging/Chaperoning Residents

Make a meaningful difference and real connection by listening to and uplifting residents either at Noah’s House or on outings.

Leading a Class

Share your skill sets and passions by teaching residents something that can enrich their lives. Examples of classes are yoga, cooking classes, job skills development, and art classes.

Gardening/Maintenance

Our grounds are the living space for the residents. By creating a beautiful and functional space at Noah’s House, you are giving dignity and peace to the residents.

Administrative Opportunities

Answering calls, entering data, community outreach, and thanking donors are all critical tasks that cannot be taken lightly.  Help make Noah’s House run smoothly by giving your time to administrative needs.

Advisory Board Member

Lend skills, guidance, and knowledge as a member of the Noah's House standing committees (finance, development, facilities, programming, and personnel).

“We support Noah’s House by having our occupational therapy students come in to provide services and activities. We focus on hygiene, activities of daily living, and social participation. I enjoy volunteering because the residents are the happiest people I’ve ever seen. I feel so inspired by them. They see the brighter side of things.”

Right now, you can change the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities like Katie. Your generosity during the end of this year helps adults with IDD find belonging, independence, and purpose at Noah’s House. Give by December 31 to ensure every resident has the support they need to thrive in the year ahead.
